By solving Brisbane’s critical shortage of overnight berths for marine tourism vessels, Colmslie Wharves will deliver a tourism bonanza forecast to inject more than $100 million a year into the economy, attract almost 110,000 extra visitors each year and create 337 ongoing jobs.
As Brisbane gears up for the 2032 Olympic Games, Colmslie Wharves will be the catalyst for new Brisbane River, Moreton Bay and Bay Islands experiences. It will also encourage investment in common user river infrastructure, creating new and improved pick-up and drop-off points and day trip outings.
