A new chapter for Brisbane’s working river

Colmslie Wharves is a fit-for-purpose, long-term marina facility for 50 commercial and tourism vessels on the Brisbane River

The site sits at the edge of the Brisbane River, adjacent to Colmslie Beach and Recreation Reserves.

The project has been shaped in consultation with industry and government and is supported by the Queensland Government’s tourism infrastructure objectives.

Colmslie Wharves repurposes underutilised industrial land for modern commercial marine activity, enhancing the functionality of the Brisbane River while reducing pressure on public jetties and unauthorised moorings.

The marina will deliver a tourism bonanza for Brisbane that is forecast to inject more than $100 million a year into the local economy and attract almost 110,000 extra visitors per annum. It is also expected to create 337 ongoing full-time jobs.
